Guide to documents for Cuban legal history

Archives preserve and manage a great deal of information related to the legal actions of countries. In the case of Cuba, its National Archive makes available to users documentation that illustrates the aforementioned precept. The scientific problem imposes the objective of analyzing the impact of documentary preservation in the construction and access to the history of Legal Sciences in Latin America. The qualitative methodology was used with documentary review techniques such as theoretical-legal, historical-legal, analytical-legal and document analysis techniques. These allowed the analysis of the impact on legal history and the elaboration of the search instrument. A theoretical and analytical approach of the areas impacted within the Legal Sciences by the documents preserved in the Archives and their possible evolution towards the construction of their history was obtained. In addition, this impact is analyzed and exemplified with the processed funds of the National Archive of Cuba. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the evolution of law has a historical impact on the generation of documents in Latin American countries. The documents preserved and managed by the Archives have a significant impact on the construction of the legal history of Latin American countries. The documents are configured as a primary source of information for writing legal history. The collections processed in the National Archive of Cuba illustrate the impact of document generation on the history of law in that country.
