System of teaching aids for speaking in English language

The purpose of the article is to expose the results of the investigation which objective was centered in elaborating a System of Teaching Aids that propitiates the development of the oral expression in English language in the students of the groups of Directive of Key Processes of the Hotel management in the Training Center of Hotel and Tourism of Ciego de Ávila. Diverse methods were used and techniques that facilitated the diagnosis of the initial problem in the formation of the workers of the sector of the tourism in the county, specifically the directive of key processes of hotel management, demonstrating the existence of deficiencies in their curricular integral formation. Although in all the technical subjects they have bibliographical support for learning, it is not this way when facing the study the English language as foreign language of indispensable knowledge for their work, influencing this aspect in a negative way in their speaking abilities in this language once they graduate. The system of teaching aids elaborated is presented; its effectiveness was corroborated by means of the expert’s criteria. It was also validated in the practice with the students of the two editions of this course type.
