The main purpose of this research was that children, students of the Institución Educativa Escuela Normal Superior de Corozal – Sucre would learn about the expressions in different areas of emotions experienced by human beings in the stages of life. This study was based on a qualitative approach, with a descriptive design of transversal cut and non-experimental design. It had a sample of 20 students from grades 1 to 5 of the institution in question. For the collection of information, direct observation, interviews and pedagogical playful workshops were used, which resulted in evidence of strengthening the skills of perception, understanding and regulation of emotions, thus learning to express their emotions through the experiences lived at a personal and social level. These findings support the importance of integrating emotional education into the school curriculum and educational practices to support the emotional growth and overall success of children.
